Dr. Frechie is a highly accomplished and dedicated board-eligible ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma, who has joined the team at Eye Care Physicians and Surgeons of New Jersey.
During her Glaucoma Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, she demonstrated exemplary leadership skills by overseeing clinics and assisting with surgical cases. Dr. Frechie is well-versed in a wide range of advanced procedures, including trabeculectomy, laser trabeculoplasty, and premium intraocular lens implantation, reflecting her dedication to staying at the forefront of ophthalmology.
Having completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Ascension Macomb-Oakland in Madison Heights, Michigan, Dr. Frechie gained experience in ophthalmologic imaging and provided care at a Level I Trauma Center. Her expertise and dedication to patient care extend beyond the clinical setting, as evidenced by her involvement in impactful research. Dr. Frechie has presented her insights at prestigious events, such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), sharing her experiences and knowledge to contribute to advancements in eye care.
