Contact lenses are thin lenses that are placed directly onto the surface of the eyes. Prescription contact lenses are worn to help correct refractive errors and perform this function by adding or subtracting focusing power to the eye’s cornea and lens. In order to keep your eyes and vision in tip-top shape, each pair of contact lenses is prescribed to wear for a certain amount of time, after which they should be replaced. There are also daily disposable contact lenses that are only worn for one day at a time. Our team can help you find the contacts that are right for you and your lifestyle.
When you receive your contact lens prescription, it will usually include the power of the contact lens, the contact lens base curve, and the diameter of the lens. If you have any questions regarding how to read your contact lens description, do not hesitate to ask!
If you have any questions regarding eyeglasses or contacts, contact our office today and our friendly staff will help in any way that they can. We want each and every one of our patients to feel confident in their glasses and contacts, so we will take the time to fully answer any of your questions.
